From the founder
I stopped paying for party decorations. Here's what I do instead.
How thousands of parents set up a character party at home, without being "crafty", without expensive machines, and in one afternoon.
Mom and founder of Deco Magic

Two weeks before my daughter's fourth birthday, she climbed onto my lap and said: "Mommy, can I have a Frozen party? A real one, like on Instagram."
I said yes before I knew what I was getting into.
The next day I asked a local party decorator for a quote. $480. For one dessert table. No invitations, no favour boxes, no name on anything. I thanked her, closed my laptop and thought: I can do this myself.
I couldn't. Not at first. I spent four nights at the kitchen table after the kids went to bed, downloading images from ten different websites, fighting with sizes, printing toppers that came out blurry and labels that didn't match anything else.
On the last night, at 1 a.m., surrounded by paper scraps, I finally had a table where everything matched: the banner, the cake topper, the treat bags, the water bottles, all with her name on it.
The next morning she walked into the living room, stopped, and screamed: "You made Elsa's castle!" I still get goosebumps writing that.
That afternoon, three moms asked me the same thing: "Where did you buy all this?"
I hadn't bought it. I'd made it. So I started sending them my files. Then their friends asked. Then a mom from school offered to pay me to make her son's Spider-Man party boxes.
That's how Deco Magic started: not as a business, but as the folder I wished I'd had at 1 a.m. that night.
The problem isn't you. It's starting from a blank page.
Here's what I learned after that party, and after hundreds more (mine, and then our customers'):
Most parents aren't short on taste. They're short on time, and on a starting point.
When everything is already designed to match (the banner, the cake topper, the favour boxes, the water bottle labels, the invitation), you're not "designing" anymore. You're just choosing, adding a name, and pressing print.

So I turned it into an app
At first I shared everything in a big folder. It worked, but it was messy, and people got lost.
So we built the Deco Magic app: everything organised by theme, with a search bar, favourites, and short videos that show you how to put each piece together.
You open it on your phone or computer, search your child's theme, and everything for that party is in one place.

What you actually need
This is the question we get most, so here's the honest answer:
That's it. Many of our customers set up the whole table the night before.

What's inside
- 400+ themes: the characters and styles kids ask for, plus classics like dinosaurs, princesses, superheroes and video games.
- A ready-made design for each theme, plus thousands of blank templates, clip art and backgrounds to create as much as you want.
- Invitations, banners, toppers, favour boxes, labels, bags and more.
- Fully in English (also in Spanish, French and German).
- Instant access in the app right after checkout. One-time purchase, no subscription.
One honest note: what you see in our photos is inspiration of what you can create. Each theme comes with its ready-made design, and the templates let you make many more pieces your way.
From my kitchen table to a small business
Here's something I didn't expect: a lot of our customers do exactly what I did after that first party.
They start by decorating their own kids' birthdays. Friends see the photos. Someone asks, "Could you make these for my daughter?" And suddenly they're selling personalised treat boxes, chip bags and toppers to other families, from home.
Same app, same themes. They just change the name and print. No design skills, no expensive machines, and no starting from a blank page every time an order comes in.

"Is it legit?"
Fair question. There are a lot of copies out there.
Deco Magic is a real small business run by our team, with real support. If anything goes wrong with your access, write to customers@decomagic.shop and a person will help you.

It's not about the decorations
The part I love most isn't the printing. It's the moment your child walks in, sees their favourite character everywhere, and you get to say: "I made this for you."
You don't need to be crafty for that. You just need a head start.
Ready for your next party?
Search your child's theme in the app and have the whole party ready in one afternoon.
